Upon its merger with the Dutch based ABN-AMRO, LaSalle National Bank went from a giant in the Chicago-land market to a bellweather in the banking industry worldwide. This consolidation has created the need for more tenant space throughout the downtown area. In the past several years BABCO Construction, Inc. has played a major role in ABN-AMRO’s growth by building out a multitude of space amassing over 500,000 sq. ft., throughout Chicago’s financial district. Recently, BABCO Construction, Inc. has completed tenant improvement projects at 135 S. LaSalle, 205 S. LaSalle, 181 E. Madison, 79 W. Monroe, 5250 Harlem etc. as well as a Cold Storage Facility designed for the Banks Art Curator Department. In addition to high quality interior finishes, the bank projects are very demanding when it comes to their electrical/mechanical requirements. |
