- BABCO Construction is currently building the Third
Baptist Church of Chicago project. The 60,000 square
foot facility will be located at 1551 W. 95th Street,
Chicago, and is slated for completion in December 2004,
according to Wes Brown, Sr. Vice President of BABCO
Construction, Inc. The 4-story facility will include
16 classrooms, a gymnasium and running track, Chapel
and Day Care facility.
- BABCO Construction is proud to announce the completion
of a major renovation and expansion project at Congregation
Beth Shalom in Northbrook, Illinois. The 41,000 square
foot renovation included complete renovation of the
Social Halls, Lobbies, Bathrooms and School. A new School
Administration wing was also added. The creation of
a new glass enclosed pre-function area adjoining the
renovated lobbies and the new Chapel, provides a special
place for prayer, receptions, weddings & parties.
- BABCO Construction was awarded the construction of
35 residential units at the high-end condominum building,
The Residences at Riverbend located at 333 N. Canal
Street, Chicago, Illinois. We are also building
a new Townhouse and renovation of the Lobby. The
project will take 10 months to complete and it is a
collaboration with the Rise Group and DeStefano &
Partners Architects.
- BABCO Construction was recently awarded another project
for Temple Chai in Long Grove, Illinois. This renovation
and expansion project will be performed in 2 phases.
The first phase is a 3,000 square foot addition to the
existing Social Hall. The second phase is the complete
renovation of the existing Sanctuary and Social Hall,
as well as a new main entrance, exterior skylight canopy
and mansard roof changes.

- BABCO Construction was recently awarded another Hyatt
Regency Chicago Project. BABCO was called upon to renovate
and create the new 4,000 square foot Plaza Ballroom.
The project has a competion date of December 15, 2004
and it will be in collaboration with Culpepper, McAulifee,
Meaders, Inc., Architects.
- BABCO recently completed a 21, 500 square foot interior
office build-out for The Millard Group located in Lincolnwood,
Illinois.
- The accounting firm of Reifler and Sharps has selected
BABCO Construction to perform their tenant build-out
of 4,000 square feet in the Civic Opera Building located
at 20 N. Wacker Drive, Chicago, Illinois. Work will
be completed in October 2004.
- BABCO has recently completed the historic facade renovation
of Hazelden Foundation in Chicago, Illinois. In addition,
Hazelden has again selected BABCO to perform the upcoming
interior renovation work of their historic building
in collaboration TSP One Architects, located in Rochester
& Minnetonka, MN.
This project is another example of BABCO’s
ability to perform historic reconstruction work. Previously,
BABCO Construction performed the historic reconstruction
of the Fisher Building in downtown Chicago and received
an AIA Distinguished Building Award, as well as the
Chicago Landmark Award of Preservation Excellence.
- BABCO is in the process of completing the interior
renovation of the 5,300 square foot Sanctuary at Lakeside
Congregation in Highland Park, Illinois.
